Why did you join CSOP?
When I first started acting, working backstage during shows had never crossed my mind because I enjoyed the performance aspect so much. However, after getting a glimpse of what that backstage process was like during my last year in high school, I found that I wanted to learn more about it. So when I came to Chapman, I sought out clubs that had that kind of opportunity. And thus, I came across CSOP. This club has taught me so much in the span of one semester, and I am so, incredibly grateful for all the people who have made this experience an unforgettable one.

It’s SO cool getting to see the behind-the-scenes and see it all come together at end!!

Why did you join CSOP?
As someone who wasn’t a theatre major, I was looking for some way to continue performing throughout college and to connect to people with a similar passion. Someone recommended that I join CSOP if I wanted to be part of some really stellar musical productions. I auditioned, was cast in “The Crooked Star,” and the rest is history! Little did I know when I submitted my self tape that I would find such an outstanding and welcoming group of artists and friends. I’m beyond happy to be part of a group of students who put on top-tier shows and open up the magic of theatre to people of all majors!
